My daily struggles are beginning to ease. I have now settled a civil case in the High Court in London and the pressures of litigation have now been consigned to the annuls of history.

I now have the problem of facing the other sharks of this world....financial advisors. My experiences to date show that they are all the same in one sense. They all are plausible and draw you into their net. Am I the only one that believe they are earning megabucks by promising that they will turn your money into something that you can survive on?

I had another court case last week. This time i was the defendant. To keep the story short, a nursing agency who was supplying me with personnel to assist me had sent a nurse to work under false pretences and because I disputed the shift they then slapped on a surcharge to the bill. There staff also had stolen some of my property in particular my passport so I counterclaimed. I won most of my arguments before the judge except for paying VAT on the agency services. I believed I was exempt from this tax but the judge disagreed. So I ended up paying a fraction of what the agency wanted. The sting in the tail unfortunately was that I had to pay court costs!! These costs were more than the money the judge awarded to the agency. I lost my stolen property claim as too remote. I ask you how on earth can this be?

I would be interested to hear any experiences of a similar nature.
